The advantages of halotherapy (dry salt therapy) are far reaching. Salt levels influence our cell action, vitality and glucose levels. Salt hosts the characteristics of being both antimicrobial and antibacterial and contains 84 elements and minerals found in the human body.

Breathing in the microscopic particles of salt may lessen irritation, inflammation and fluid in the lungs, enhancing respiratory conditions such as asthma, sensitivities, bronchitis, and COPD. Lung capacity can be increased by taking deep breaths during a halotherapy session, helping athletes and those with chronic lung issues. The detoxifying and calming effects of our Himalayan salt rooms help support the immune, nervous and lymphatic systems.

Skin conditions can reap benefits from dry salt therapy. The minerals found in Himalayan salt help to moisturize and balance the skin. Improved cell function and detoxification effects from the salt air help aid in rejuvenation of the skin.

Float Haven offers two Himalayan salt rooms, one for kids and a second for adults. Our children’s room is an environment for play. We want your children to have fun instead of feeling like they are receiving a medical treatment. Our adult room has a beautifully backlit salt wall and zero gravity lounge chairs so you are able to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the space. You don’t need to wear anything special unless you are coming in for skin conditions (the skin does need to be exposed so tank and shorts or bathing suit).
